Nestled on 75 acres of serene landscape, the Wisdom House features a variety of small gardens and peacful spaces for reflection. Each year we welcome over 3000 guests and vistors who enjoy the natural beauty of our grounds.

We're seeking both seasoned and aspiring gardeners to help us care for and enhance this special place. From planting annuals and vegetables to tendign perennials and native species, there is always something ne to do as the seasons change. Every week brings fresh opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to a vibrant and evolving landscape.

Wisdom House is an interfaith retreat and conference center presenting programs in spirituality, wellness, the arts, and ecology, and offering hospitality to academic, civic, nonprofit, and business organizations. We are committed to sustainability, justice, and welcoming people of all backgrounds and beliefs.

Description

Wisdom House was established in Litchfield 75 years ago by the Daughters of Wisdom. We serve as an interfaith center and hostover 3000 guests a year both nationally and internationally. We host colleges, churches, health and wellness organizations along with the arts, music and spirituality non-profits. It is our goal to provide a beautiful space on our 75 acres for groups and individuals to come and find peace and wisdom in nature.
