The following are areas that we need assistance from our volunteers: Registration - Checking in families, distributing tickets and information to families, directing families to the open registration spot Photos - Capture photos of our families- Families will be wearing A Kid Again stickers to help with identifying Sunscreen - Applying sunscreen as they are in line for tickets Tattoos - Apply temporary A Kid Again tattoos Picnic Area - Often times families have multiple kids and need an extra hand when it comes to carrying plates As our thank you for volunteering, all volunteers will receive complimentary parking and a ticket to Schlitterbahn Galveston. We exist to foster hope, happiness, and healing for children with life-threatening conditions and their families.
Description
Over the last 28 years, A Kid Again has provided consistent, cost-free, year-round Adventures for children with life-threatening conditions, and their families. These group activities are designed to take their minds off their daily challenges while creating happy memories.
Our vision is for every child in America with a life-threatening condition to be A Kid Again. We have continued to reach families across the United States, A Kid Again has families in 50 states and 7 chapters. We are looking for Adventure Guides (our fancy term for volunteers) in our new areas.
