Here is an opportunity to support Tampa Bay nonprofits in a fulfilling and professional part-time, contract position. You can directly help organizations that make a difference in people’s lives every day as our Business Development Executive.

Executive Service Corps- Florida is a nonprofit transforming communities through social impact consulting. We deploy retired C-Suite executives as volunteer consultants to help Florida's nonprofits build capacity. Services include strategic planning, executive search, board development, training, and process improvement (among others). Our consultants are the key to our value proposition- C-Suite professionals with real-world operational expertise who have managed growth, mastered change, and provided organizational leadership for some of America’s top private and public sector companies. The ideal candidate for ESC-FL’s Business Development Executive has extensive experience and established relationships within the Tampa Bay nonprofit community. The ideal candidate will understand the value of our services, have a robust network of nonprofit contacts, and be able to connect us with organizations that would benefit from our support.

Although there is a small commission offered, this is not a sales position. This role is ideally suited for a retiree or semi-retired individual who is passionate about giving back, eager to stay involved, and interested in connecting nonprofits with essential, high-quality consulting services at a low cost.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience working for or serving on the board of a nonprofit, foundation, or grantor.

  • Well-established network of contacts within the Tampa Bay nonprofit community.

  • Understands the value of offering top-tier consulting services to nonprofits that otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford them.

  • Actively supports Executive Service Corps- Florida’s mission.

  • Resides in the Tampa Bay area with the ability to work comfortably in a hybrid position, utilizing a home office setup, and possessing solid technology skills.

  • Willingness and ability to travel to networking meetings and events as required.
