Volunteer Position: Women’s Health Program Intern
Organization: She’s Going Places
Location: Remote (with some in-person opportunities if local)
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week (flexible schedule)

She’s Going Places is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and girls globally through personal development, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, hygiene programs, and cultural exchange. We believe women’s health is a cornerstone to building strong communities and changing lives.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Women’s Health Program Intern to support the growth and development of our women's health initiatives. This role is perfect for a student or emerging professional who is enthusiastic about health education, menstrual equity, hygiene access, and women's empowerment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with research on women’s health issues, menstrual hygiene access, and best practices for program development.

• Help organize and manage campaigns related to menstrual health and hygiene education.

• Support outreach to potential sponsors, partners, and donors for women's health initiatives.

• Assist in creating educational materials, donor letters, and participant resources.

• Help track inventory and coordinate the supply chain for hygiene kits.

• Support data collection, impact reporting, and storytelling efforts to highlight program success.

• Attend virtual team meetings and contribute ideas to strengthen the women's health program.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Passionate about women’s health, empowerment, and social impact.

• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.

• Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and social media (optional).

• (Bonus) Background or current studies in Public Health, Health Education, Gender Studies, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
