Volunteer Position: Program Coordinator
Organization: She’s Going Places
Location: Remote (with occasional in-person opportunities if local)
Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week (flexible scheduling)

About Us:
She’s Going Places is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young women and girls in underserved communities through personal development, financial literacy, business development, cultural outreach, and global experiences.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and organized Program Coordinator to assist with planning, coordinating, and supporting our various programs and outreach initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who loves program development, community impact, and wants to help women and girls thrive locally and globally.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with program planning, scheduling, and implementation for personal development, hygiene, and outreach initiatives.

• Coordinate communication between program directors, volunteers, and community partners.

• Support the management and tracking of program activities, participant progress, and feedback.

• Help prepare program materials, donor letters, supply lists, and event logistics.

• Maintain and update program databases, calendars, and records.

• Conduct outreach to potential sponsors, donors, and community partners as needed.

• Assist with organizing supply chain logistics for our hygiene program and ambassador program.

• Help create and execute simple social media posts and content to promote programs (optional).

• Attend virtual meetings and contribute to brainstorming and planning sessions.

• Assist with grant support, data collection, and impact reporting related to programs.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Passionate about community service, women’s empowerment, and global outreach.

• Comfortable with using basic digital tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar).

• (Bonus but not required): Experience with CRM platforms, Canva, or basic project management software.
