As we approach the end of the school year, we’re excited to host our Elementary Youth of the Year. This event is a special culmination of our students’ hard work and creativity, and we are currently looking for knowledgeable and supportive judges to help us make it a success. We would be honored if you could join us as a judge. Your expertise and perspective would be incredibly valuable in providing feedback and celebrating the efforts of our students. Below is the list of dates at each site level: Bonita Street Elementary (21929 Bonita St, Carson, CA 90745): Tuesday, May 20
Dolores Street Elementary (22526 Dolores St, Carson, CA 90745): Wednesday, May 21
Main Street Clubhouse (21502 S Main St, Carson, CA 90745): Thursday, May 22
Towne Avenue Elementary (18924 Towne Ave, Carson, CA 90746): Friday, May 23
Judging takes place from 3:30pm-5:00pm and the event takes place from 5:00pm-6:00 pm. If you're available and interested, please let us know which date(s) work best by Friday, May 9th. I’m happy to provide more details about the event format, judging criteria, and time commitment. Description
Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson (BGCC) is part of the Boys & Girls Club of America movement that provides outcome-based after-school and summer programming to youth ages 6 through 18 years old. In 2016, our Club was ranked as the fastest-growing Club for teens nationwide.
As an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we are comprised of twenty-eight locations in Carson, Gardena, Watts, and South Bay of Los Angeles - 1 Clubhouse, 18 elementary schools, 7 middle schools, and 3 high schools.
