ORGANIZATION: YWCA OF KALAMAZOO

Provide nurturing, attentive care and support for infants in a safe and positive environment, in alignment with the mission and values of the YWCA.

WHEN: Monday - Fridays from 10:00 am -2:00 pm

This position does not require volunteers to be scheduled Monday-Friday. We are flexible with day/days, and times!

Responsibilities:

  • Feed, rock, and comfort infants as needed (no diaper changes required).

  • Attend to infants’ needs and promptly notify staff of any diapering needs.

  • Create a warm, supportive, and safe atmosphere for all children.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of any sensitive or personal information obtained through the role.

  • Follow all YWCA policies and guidelines to ensure the well-being of infants and the integrity of the program.

  • General understanding of the YWCA’s mission and values.
