As we expand our presence in the WNY area, we're looking for someone to be responsible for organizing events in support of local veterans and active service personnel. This role will help support our aim to work to ensure that those who serve or have served are supported, uplifted and remembered through a variety of support programs.

The Event Coordinator will:

  • Help plan and coordinate regular events (e.g. luncheons, pizza parties, Bingo morning coffee, Bills watch parties, etc.) as well as special events.
  • Coordinate with staff at the various service sites.
  • Ensure that all events have the adequate number of volunteers signed up to help with the success of the event.
  • Help with the oversight of our volunteers participating in these events, making sure they have all the information they need to be successful
  • Anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision and be willing to work events on occasional evening and weekends.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, contact Marianne Gerace, Volunteer Coordinator mgerace@soldiersangels.org

We hope to have you join our team!
