Want to get involved in Eagle Island State Park's next volunteer opportunity? They are having a project day on May 10th from 10am - Noon clearing winter deadfall from the West Trail and Disc Golf Gourse. The grill will be hot and dogs delicious! Description
Idaho Department of Parks & Recreation is proud to manage it's 30 state parks and when you visit one of them you'll understand why. They are located in some of the most scenic areas of the state. Some are located in spectacular natural settings. Some are at sites of historic significance. Others are located in prime, Grade A recreation sites near rivers and lakes where you and your family can play in a safe, clean environment. Rock climbing meccas, sand dunes, ghost towns or historic trails. Idaho State Parks have something for everyone! If you find yourself near a state park with an interpretive center, be sure to stop by. You'll find the centers' educational and informative and they'll give you a hands-on experience about a natural or historic site. The Idaho state park rangers are friendly and knowledgeable and have been recognized as some of the best in the West.
