Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate UI/UX Designer Volunteer to help craft a user-centered, visually appealing, and intuitive mobile application experience. You will work closely with our Product Manager, Developers, and other volunteers to design the app that will make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

• Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes for the mobile app.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine designs.

• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries.

• Work closely with React Native developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.

• Iterate designs based on feedback and evolving project needs.

• Advocate for best practices in accessibility, usability, and mobile-first design.

• Passion for social impact and community service.

• Experience designing for mobile platforms (iOS/Android).

• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.

• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work (especially mobile applications).

• Understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Experience with React Native design guidelines.

• Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS or mobile app development processes.

• Experience working with NGOs or volunteer-based projects.
