Mission Statement

Equip communities to strengthen families impacted by dementia.

Description

Old Friends Club (OFC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2015. Its original goal was to offer group activities for dementia patients in a rural area without memory care services. By 2020, OFC expanded its model to four metro-area respite programs, providing essential support to over 130 families.

However, a significant gap in dementia respite care persisted, remaining beyond OFC's reach. To bridge it, OFC created a free Toolkit and expansion plan to help organizations launch community-led OFC social respite programs-designed to support both individuals living with dementia and their caregivers.
