We are currently seeking volunteers for various open opportunities at Julia's Center for Healthcare, a non-profit clinic servicing the uninsured population of Collin County and staffed 100% by volunteer healthcare providers, translators, and office support staff. Various basic and chronic medical care services are provided for patients with nonemergent and emergent needs and other services through our referral partners. All services are 100% free.
Current Volunteer Needs:
* EMTs
* Medical Assistants
* Licensed Vocational Nurses
*Registered Vocational Nurses
*Translators
*Open to students in Healthcare
Duties:
* Assist with taking vitals
* Checking in patients for appointments
* Seasonal vaccinations
* Discharging patients from appointments
* Various duties in running the clinic
Volunteer requirements
* Two (2) shifts minimum per month
* Hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm TO 8:30pm
* A successful background check, certification and license process required
* Attend a volunteer orientation on a Saturday (Flexible)
