Description

Julia Mae Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to uplifting underserved children, families, and individuals through educational and wellness programs that foster self-worth, healing, and community empowerment. Founded with compassion and inspired by the legacy of nurturing community matriarchs, our mission is to provide support that makes a lasting difference. We host food giveaways, clothing drives, youth mentoring, cultural celebrations, and community wellness workshops focused on mental health, emotional development, and positive conflict resolution. Volunteers are the heart of our work, helping us reach more lives with love, integrity, and purpose. Join us in building a more connected and compassionate community-one act of service at a time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
  • Must be at least 16
  • June 7, 2025 12pm - 5pm and June 8, 2025 1pm - 6pm will be the time needed
  • Our volunteers will receive a Certificate of Excellence for their dedication to community service and the opportunity to be on the planning committee for the 2nd Annual Pinkster Cultural Celebration.
