At Otterbein SeniorLife of Perrysburg, we have created a unique program that fosters a culture of lifelong learning, allowing elders to engage in discussions about captivating subjects, explore STEM projects, and enjoy a variety of documentaries, films, and literature. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are eager to share their knowledge through our discovery program. We have a day set aside on our activities calendar on Mondays anytime between 1pm and 4:30pm, but we are always open to change things up to accommodate your schedule! Come share your skills or simple engagement in the world of discovering new things. Do you have a fun science project that your child would like to present? Our elders would be thrilled to see it! Are you a retired educator? Reignite your passion by leading discussions on fascinating topics or demonstrating simple science experiments that bubble or pop. Would you like to bring your scout group to launch rockets outdoors? That sounds like a blast! The possibilities are endless. Let Otterbein help you turn your adventurous ideas into reality. Our elders may be seasoned in years, but they are always excited to participate in or observe new experiences.

Whether you want to perform, lead art classes, play games, or simply engage in one-on-one conversations, your efforts can bring joy to an elder’s life. We welcome visitors every day, at any time. - Any time able to share is acceptable.
- Children under the age of 13 need to be accompanied by an adult during their visit. This experience can turn into an ongoing commitment if you so choose, but if you only have one day to share, no problem!
