The Greenhills Historical Society is currently seeking to addd a few board members to support our organiztion. The board meets monthly and is responsible for planning , financial and strategic oversight of the Society. In addition, we develop programs, operate a small museum and promote support from membership. We are a small board that looks to increase our size.
Experience in the Non Profit world is not required but would be a benefit for us. We will work with you to develop understanding of the non profit world and responsbilites.

Description
For more than 25 years we have been collecting and preserving the history of our village, Greenhills. This village is unique in that it was created as one of three Greenbelt Towns built by the Resettlement Administration in 1938. We have programs such as walking tours, lectures, oral history and archive research access. We also operate a small museum which is under redesign currently.
