Join us for a lovely Saturday tour of the construction site of the exciting new River Studio at Grant Park. Connect with fellow community members and learn about this amazing project!

The River Studio at Grant Park will act as a new home for the San Diego River in the heart of Mission Valley. With nature as a classroom , it will provide free, hands-on STEM learning experiences to thousands of kids with the goal of inspiring pursuit of STEM education and careers and a love for the river. We hope you can join us to learn more about this incredible haven of green space in the heart of San Diego!

Mission Statement

The San Diego River Park Foundation is dedicated to fostering stewardship and appreciation of the region’s namesake waterway. In order to protect and enhance the San Diego River as a place for recreation, habitat, and nature discovery, we are dedicated to engaging people to be stewards of the River and working towards the vision of a 52 mile, river-long system of parks, open spaces, and community places.

Description

We organize many different volunteer stewardship activities each month. River Cleanups, native plant gardening, habitat restoration, volunteer leadership, water quality testing, outreach and education, special event committees, technical committees and more.
