Overview: Guide new volunteers through their first steps. You’ll handle welcome emails, account setup, orientation scheduling, and ensure every new recruit feels ready to go.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
* Send welcome emails and onboarding documents
* Schedule orientations and setup sessions
* Assign tools/logins and walk through usage
* Answer setup and policy questions
* Track completion of onboarding steps

Description
Outdoor Life Leadership is a grassroots nonprofit established in 2024 with a clear mission: to empower young men ages 7-17 from underserved communities through transformative outdoor experiences. Our programs are designed to teach vital skills like survival, disaster preparedness, leadership, and economic mobility, offering participants pathways to a successful future in outdoor and emergency service careers.
Our flagship program, Bear n Archers, engages young men in structured, adventure-based learning where they build confidence and resilience while mastering essential outdoor skills. For our older participants, ages 18-24, Bear Captains provides a leadership and volunteerism opportunity that empowers them to mentor younger participants. These young men become role models, fostering teamwork and guiding others to discover their own potential.
With our partnerships, we’ve already achieved notable milestones, including hosting three family camping retreat that brought together eight families for a weekend of learning and connection in nature.
At Outdoor Life Leadership, we envision a world where every young man has access to resources and skills that open doors to economic and personal growth.
