Looking for a fun, meaningful way to give back while building community? We’re calling all passionate, creative, and positive individuals to join us as volunteers for our WW Wellness Connect Game Nights-a space where youth empowerment meets mental wellness and good vibes.

    Help us welcome guests and attendees while connecting with the voices behind the YouthVoice Wellness Connect Podcast!

    Be part of activities that spark important conversations and share real tools for emotional health-all in an uplifting environment.

  3. Spread Joy Through Games & Fun
    Help run games, contests, and creative activities that bring people together and spark connections.

  4. Create Space for New Connections
    Assist with networking zones where attendees can meet mentors, peers, and professionals in a chill, welcoming setting.

  5. Support Live Podcast Sessions
    Work behind the scenes or as a hype crew as we record our live podcast episodes during game nights-volunteers make the magic happen!

Mission Statement

Counselors in the Community Alliance- CITCA serves disadvantaged individuals throughout the United States from urban & rural communities with mental and behavioral health resources by increasing access to services, resources and support for children, adults and families impacted by poverty and poverty-related issues and bridge the gaps to strengthen community resilience through stewardship, economic opportunities, health and education equity.

Description

CITCA is a national 501c3 on a powerful mission to increase strengthen mental health awareness and community resilience. Our association includes a collaborative alliance among counselors, mental health professionals, and community members nationwide engaging in civic community activities that promote mental health awareness and resiliency. Through such allyship the organization strengthens anti-poverty initiatives that bridge the gaps on access to care and socioeconomic resources including programs, education and employment resources.

Since incorporating the nonprofit has been driving impact in social emotional learning, SEL and increasing access to counseling services for low income families. The organization also offer programs for youth leadership development, advocacy, community resources and programs that contribute to prosocial development and other services to close equity gaps

We are seeking volunteers to serve with us who share similar passions to increase mental health awareness and strengthen communities. Volunteers are the driving force our mission would be incomplete without and we welcome all with a passion too serve.
