Phenology Trail Lead at the Charlestown Navy Yard
ORGANIZATION: National Park Service
Please visit the new page to apply.
Are you someone with experience in phenology or biology who loves to promote scientific inquiry and teach about the world? As a Phenology Trail Leads, do all of this and more! Trail leads will complete all of the same duties and responsibilities as Phenology Plant Monitor Volunteers while simultaneously orienting new plant monitors to the world of citizen science and phenology. With the support of an NPB staff member, help other volunteers and members of the public take a close look at the native plants of the Charlestown Navy Yard and learn how to record what they find in a national network. Then, empower them to continue their own observations independently and further support the phenology program at the National Parks of Boston.
Requirements: Previous experience with the NPB phenology program OR equivalent experience required.
Newsletter: If you would like to stay up to date on our phenology program, join our monthly newsletter. Fill out your information here - https://tinyurl.com/npbphenology
