Bring a blanket, chair, and get ready for a weekend jazz extravaganza! Come downtown for three days of live performances on two stages showcasing a variety of well-known jazz musicians and up-and-coming talent alongside national and international artists. We want to create a jazz audience of all ages and encourage everyone to come out. There are also artist booths, organization booths, delicious dishes, and a lively beverage garden.
Volunteers needed in the Beverage Garden, Bike Parking, and Merchandise Booth.
We need many volunteers to make our events happen! To help out:

The Mission of Summer of the Arts is to build community by bringing people together in the heart of Iowa City to experience, learn about, and enjoy free arts and cultural programs.
Description
Summer of the Arts is a local non-profit organization that works to produce and create a year filled with arts and cultural entertainment in the Iowa City Area. Our festivals and events include: the Iowa Arts Festival, Iowa City Jazz Festival, Friday Night Concert Series, Free Movie Series, the Soul & Blues Festival, and the Holiday Thieves Market.
In addition to individual volunteer opportunities, we also encourage group volunteering, which is a fantastic team building exercise and a positive way to represent your group in the community. Head over to the Volunteer information page on our website to fill out the Group Volunteer Interest Form!
