Linked Family Services is seeking dedicated, empathetic volunteers to support our Care Coordination Program, part of Walk With Me: The MotherRoot Project. This initiative provides Black and Brown mothers-who are pregnant or parenting a child under age 4-with emotional support, personalized referrals, and access to critical services.
Volunteers will assist our Care Coordination team with light administrative tasks, outreach, and follow-up that help ensure every mom is connected to the resources she needs.
Volunteer roles may include:
Supporting outreach and follow-up communication with participants
Assisting with appointment scheduling and reminder calls/texts
Helping track resource referrals in a secure database
Preparing welcome materials and resource packets
Attending occasional in-person events (optional)
Time Commitment:
3-5 hours per week (flexible, remote and/or hybrid opportunities)

Based in Philadelphia. Remote support available with potential for in-person events.

Description
Linked Family Services (LFS) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the Philadelphia area and surrounding counties. Our commitment lies in fostering positive change and enhancing the well-being of our community.
We offer programs and services that address critical needs, including combating diaper and food insecurity, promoting childhood literacy, and advancing maternal and paternal health within the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) community. Additionally, we support the stability and growth of families by providing workforce development resources and access to job training opportunities.
