Regarding general volunteering there are many ways a volunteer can celebrate their time with our members, socializing over dinner service, assisting as a cyber lounge volunteer, fighting food insecurity helping distribute pantry bags and lastly celebrating alongside our members through service at parties/holidays/special events. We go over example of volunteering opportunities in our orientation.

Volunteering takes place mostly in SAGE Centers in NYC: Edie Windsor SAGE Center (Manhattan), SAGE Center Brooklyn at Stonewall House, SAGE Center Harlem, SAGE Center Bronx at Crotona Pride House.

The mission of SAGE is to lead in addressing issues related to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) aging. Services & Advocacy for GLBT Elders (SAGE) is the country's largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) older adults. Our mission is to lead in addressing issues related to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) aging.
