The BudoComedy Show is a bi-annual comedy show series hosted by Derek Mio and held at Terasaki Budokan. The shows feature a diverse lineup of comedians and local AAPI-owned small business vendors. Ticket proceeds support Budokan’s mission-driven community programs.
Volunteers may assist with set up or tear down of tables, chairs, and any other equipment, checking in participants, answering event questions, checking ID, serving food and pouring alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, overseeing cleanliness of the event space, taking trash to dumpsters, and restocking bathrooms.

For over 40 years, Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC) has provided a safety net of social welfare and community development services to empower people and communities in need. LTSC provides culturally and linguistically appropriate services to the Japanese American community in the Greater Los Angeles area, builds multi-family affordable housing projects to uplift low-income neighborhoods of color throughout Los Angeles, and promotes equitable development and cultural preservation in the Little Tokyo neighborhood.
