Volunteer at a Parkinson’s Foundation Moving Day and join an inspiring and empowering annual event that unites people around the country living with Parkinson’s disease (PD), their care partners and loved ones to help beat PD. Our most valuable resource are our volunteers because YOU make things MOVE. Help get communities moving as a planning committee member or event day volunteer.

  • Sat May 17, 2025 - 10:30 AM to 01:00 PM EST - Spots available: 7
    Clean up and breakdown of all tables, tents and booths. Take down all directional signage and pick up trash from event.
  • Sat May 17, 2025 - 09:00 AM to 11:30 AM EST - Spots available: 2
    At least two volunteers per water station. Distribute water bottles along the walk route.
  • Sat May 17, 2025 - 09:00 AM to 11:30 AM EST - Spots available: 10+
    Cheers on walkers as they start and finish the walk.
  • Sat May 17, 2025 - 08:00 AM to 11:30 AM EST - Spots available: 10+
    Put out walk route signage prior to walk start. Set up water stations throughout walk route. Each volunteer is assigned to specific area of the walk.
  • Sat May 17, 2025 - 07:30 AM to 12:00 PM EST - Spots available: 2
    Distribute snacks and beverages to participants, including water bottles, snacks and other concessions. Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Sat May 17, 2025 - 07:30 AM to 11:30 AM EST - Spots available: 3
    Direct traffic and provide clear instructions to parking area(s). Must be 18 years old.
  • Sat May 17, 2025 - 06:30 AM to 08:00 AM EST - Spots available: 6
    Set up all tables, tents, booths and activities. Will also place directional signage around event space. Should be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
