To guarantee the success of our dog‑training pilot as a true workforce‑development program, we need strong partnerships with dog‑training schools, animal shelters, and local businesses ready to hire graduates the moment their training wraps. You’ll be the connector-turning our curriculum into real‑world job placements for neurodivergent adults.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Research & Outreach
Identify and qualify potential partner organizations (dog‑training academies, veterinary clinics, shelters, pet care businesses).
Research local (NYC) employers open to hiring program graduates.
Relationship Building
Craft and send partnership proposals, informational packets, and follow‑up communications.
Schedule and host introductory calls or site visits with prospective partners.
Ongoing Partner Support
Serve as the liaison, ensuring smooth logistics for hands‑on training sessions and seamless handoffs to employers.
Gather feedback from partners to refine our curriculum and placement process.
Background in Marketing, Communications, or Business Development
Comfortable researching industries, crafting compelling outreach, and pitching collaborations.
Strong Networker & Communicator
Confident on the phone and in person (if local); able to build rapport quickly.
Organized & Results‑Driven
Track outreach activities, follow‑ups, and partnership metrics in a central system.
Passion for Dogs & Neurodiversity(a plus)
Experience or enthusiasm for working with animals and supporting neurodivergent adults.
Self‑Starter
Able to work independently, manage multiple leads, and pivot as priorities evolve.
Real‑World Impact: Directly create career paths for neurodivergent adults, helping them step into paid roles immediately after training.
Professional Experience: Build and manage partnerships, negotiate agreements, and deepen your business‑development skill set.
