Working Board
A Working Board is a board that consists of non-paid staff and meetings that can be held in person or via social media, with the understanding that time is of the essence. The individual members of the board implement the organization’s mission and utilize their skills toward the overall goals of "UBF" Organization.
Chairman
The Chairman of a Working Board works closely with the Executive Director as an advisor helping with making decisions that benefit the Organization by channeling more energy into brainstorming strategies and implementing them effectively in the organization to relieve much of the administrative stress (meetings will be more frequent with the Director). They also collaborate with other board members and business leaders to ensure that they're fulfilling their duties and working towards the organization’s goals.
Co-Chair
Co-Chair not only serves as a backup to the Chair but also plays a crucial role in reinforcing leadership stability within the organization. By working closely with the Chair, the Co-Chair helps distribute the workload, which can be especially beneficial during times of high pressure or organizational change. Their shared leadership fosters transparency and accountability, as board members witness effective teamwork at the top, setting a strong example for the rest of the organization.
