Recruiting Organization: RISE Mentoring

RISE is a juvenile court mentoring program dedicated to supporting youth ages 12 and older who are either involved in the court system or at risk of becoming involved. Through consistent one-on-one connections between mentors and mentees--meeting for at least four hours each month--and monthly events designed to offer new, positive experiences, RISE fosters meaningful relationships and growth opportunities. Participation is entirely voluntary, empowering youth to engage in a supportive, non-mandated environment that encourages personal development and resilience.

We are looking for DMV residents over the age of 21, able to pass a background check, and able to commit to working with a student for 1 hour a week for at least a year. If you have a passion for changing young lives, sign up today!
