We are seeking a passionate and proactive volunteer to help us expand our impact by searching for local events and potential collaborations through social media. This role is ideal for someone who is social media savvy, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about community engagement and food rescue.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify upcoming local events, food drives, and community gatherings on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and more.

Find and connect with potential collaborators, including local businesses, restaurants, stores, and community organizations interested in food rescue or partnership.

Compile and share a weekly list of relevant events and contacts with the No Lost Food team.

Engage with event organizers and potential partners online to introduce No Lost Food and explore collaboration opportunities.

Stay up-to-date with local happenings and trends related to food insecurity, food waste, and community support.

Skills & Qualifications:

Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Passion for community service, food rescue, or hunger relief.

Ability to work independently and reliably meet weekly deadlines.

Previous experience in outreach, event planning, or nonprofit work is a plus but not required.
