Are you caring, compassionate, and motivated looking for a volunteer opportunity?

Independence Seekers Project is hosting our first ever Unconference event on May 30th - 31st. We are seeking volunteers to help with tabling, leading groups and other tasks. If you are ready to make a positive impact and become part of a joyful supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!

About the event:

Independence Seekers Project Unconference is a free Kentucky-focused two-day gathering created for and by disabled people. Unlike a traditional conference, an unconference is driven by the participants themselves. This special event is an opportunity for disabled individuals to:

1) Share their voices, ideas and experiences.

2) Talk openly about their goals, dreams, interpersonal relationships, sexuality, and challenges.

3) Learn about advocacy, communication, and self-determination.

4) Build confidence and connection in a safe, inclusive space.
