We’re looking for a talented VolunteerGraphic Designer to help bring our mission to life visually! The Steven Spectrum Career Project is a nonprofit dedicated to building inclusive workforce pathways for neurodivergent individuals, and your designs will play a key role in how we show up to the world.

If you're passionate about design and want to use your skills for a powerful purpose, this is your moment.

What You'll Do:
  • Design flyers, banners, brochures, social media graphics, and posters for events and campaigns

  • Collaborate with our website team to enhance user experience with clean, on-brand visuals

  • Help shape the look and feel of our educational and outreach materials

  • Support design needs for fundraising events, campaigns, and community partnerships

  • Work directly with our leadership team for creative direction and impact alignment

What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong portfolio showing a range of design work (flyers, brochures, digital assets)

  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to receive and apply feedback

  • A passion for advocacy, inclusion, or neurodiversity (or curiosity to learn!)

  • Experience designing for nonprofits or social causes is a plus, but not required

  • Bonus: Familiarity with basic web design (Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress)

The Steven Spectrum Career Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit which aims at creating a genuine and lasting encounter between the workplace and neurodivergent individuals in New York City. Our mission is to empower the neurodiverse community by equipping individuals with the skills and support they need to overcome employment challenges. We envision a future where neurodiversity is embraced, and every individual has equal opportunities to thrive in their chosen careers.
