The Steven Spectrum Career Project is hosting two major events in New York City to uplift help raise funds for programs helping neurodivergent professionals and shift how the workforce embraces inclusion. We’re seeking a Sponsorship & Donations Strategist who can open doors and secure key partnerships to help bring our vision to life.
This role is all about making high-impact connections with businesses, brands, donors, and local influencers who can provide funding, in-kind support, or visibility for our mission.
What You’ll Do:Identify and approach sponsors aligned with our cause (corporate, foundation, local business).
Secure monetary sponsorships and in-kind donations (swag, food/beverage, services, etc.).
Create simple pitch decks or emails with our support, or use your own proven tools.
Build lasting partnerships with sponsors who want to be seen as inclusive leaders.
Work alongside our founder and events team to align on goals and deliverables.
Experienced in sponsorships, development, fundraising, or sales
Hasexisting NYC contacts or knows how to build connections fast
Knows how to pitch with confidence and get people excited to give
Believes in inclusive hiring and uplifting the neurodivergent community
Be a key player in changing lives and promoting equity through employment
Gain visibility and recognition for your partnership-building talents
Work with a small, passionate team that values your expertise
Flexible schedule and full support from our founder and creative team

The Steven Spectrum Career Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit which aims at creating a genuine and lasting encounter between the workplace and neurodivergent individuals in New York City. Our mission is to empower the neurodiverse community by equipping individuals with the skills and support they need to overcome employment challenges. We envision a future where neurodiversity is embraced, and every individual has equal opportunities to thrive in their chosen careers.

The Steven Spectrum Career Project is a nonprofit organization fully run by volunteers. We're dedicated to fostering a more inclusive workforce where neurodiversity is not just recognized, but celebrated as a source of innovation, creativity, and strength. We strive to create opportunities, raise awareness, and support the integration of neurodiverse individuals in professional environments. Our mission is rooted in the belief that a diverse workforce is a more dynamic and successful one, and we're committed to making this vision a reality through advocacy, trainings, mentorship and job placement.
