Role Description
The Luc Cochran Foundation is seeking dedicated Private Tutors to deliver high-quality academic support through virtual and in-person sessions as part of its Academic Allies Tutoring Services program. Tutors will work with students in grades K-12 to foster growth, enhance learning, and provide personalized educational experiences tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored virtual or in-person tutoring sessions, specializing in subjects aligned with your expertise.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and educational needs, including working with students who have disabilities.
- Create and implement lesson plans to help students achieve their academic goals.
- Monitor and track student progress, maintaining clear and accurate records of all sessions.
- Engage with students, parents, and TLCF staff to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
- Proven experience in education, tutoring, or related fields.
- Expertise in one or more subject areas and grade levels.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with virtual teaching tools and in-person educational strategies.
- A passion for empowering students and supporting learners of all backgrounds.
