Support Our Community Events by Gathering Local Goodness!
Low Entropy Foundation is looking for a passionate and outgoing In-Kind Donations Volunteer to help secure items that make our events extra special! You’ll play a key role in reaching out to local businesses to request donations of goods or services - from coffee for a community gathering to door prizes or raffle items for a fundraiser.
What You’ll Do:
Reach out to local businesses (by phone, email, or in-person) to request in-kind donations such as:
Coffee or treats for an upcoming event
Gift cards, products, or tickets for fundraising raffles or door prizes
Supplies that support our community programming
Build and maintain positive relationships with local partners
Track outreach efforts and confirmed donations
Represent Low Entropy with warmth and professionalism
You Are:
Friendly, confident, and comfortable initiating conversations
Organized and dependable
Passionate about community connection and helping others
Able to volunteer independently with light guidance
Time Commitment:
Flexible - most outreach can be done remotely and on your own schedule
