Farm of the Free Animal Sanctuary is seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team of Weekly Volunteer Animal Caregivers. Volunteers play a vital role in our mission by helping give dinner and tuck in our rescued farm animal residents each evening. This is a hands-on opportunity to build meaningful connections with animals while supporting a nonprofit dedicated to compassion, community, and liberation.
What You'll Do:
- Feed and provide fresh water to residents (goats, sheep, dogs, chickens, cows, and donkeys)
- Safely guide animals into their sleeping spaces for the night
- Collaborate with staff and other volunteers to ensure smooth shift coverage
What We’re Looking For:
- Volunteers who can commit to one regular evening per week (less than three hours)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to lift 30 pounds, bend, walk, and do physical tasks on uneven ground
- Punctual, dependable, and communicative

We are a fully vegan sanctuary. All food brought on site must be 100% plant-based, with no exceptions. We are unable to provide housing, transportation, or work authorization for volunteers at this time.
