Our annual plant fair is our most important fundraiser: revenues from the plant fair fund most of our regular operating expenses for the year.
Many of the plants available at the fair are donated by our members, friends, and neighbors. Once we receive them, they need to be examined, sometimes pruned or divided, labeled, and organized. Can you help with this somewhat grubby but very rewarding task?
Start time is listed as 5 p.m., but volunteers can arrive any time between 5 and 6 or so.

Description
The Hansberry Garden and Nature Center is a community garden and resource for environmental education in the heart of Southwest Germantown at Wayne and Hansberry in Philadelphia. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization invested in our community through organic gardening, the City Harvest Program of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, and educational programs for children and adults.
