Dear Community, We are excited to invite you to be a part of an impactful opportunity with Survivors Sips, a fundraising initiative under SHE IS U, INC. that champions individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual abuse, and sexual assault. Our upcoming event with Mom Your Business will bring together over 200 entrepreneurs and business owners participating in a dynamic pitch competition for the chance to receive funding to grow their businesses. To make this event a success, we need passionate volunteers to join us in creating an unforgettable experience. Volunteer roles include: * Hosting and managing our signature beverage stations * Assisting with event setup and breakdown * Providing event support and hospitality throughout the day * White pants/slacks/skirts/shorts *T-Shirt & Hat will be provided. Your time and energy will directly support a mission of restoration, empowerment, and opportunity. Opportunity to earn tips. Description
The organization is a grass roots organization which was founded at the brink of the Pandemic in 2020. The organization has held many community events including a yearly march that's held to raise awareness for "Youth Domestic Violence & Sex Abuse!" The organization is based in Center City Philadelphia and serves participants in the surrounding counties. SHE IS U is huge on activism and giving to those who are in need.
