- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

We will be helping to park cars at the Tigard Festival of Balloons from Friday, June 20th through Sunday, June 22nd between 4:30 AM to 10:00 PM.
Volunteer shifts are broken down into four hour slots and we have 74 slots!
Please sign up at this link: https://signup.com/go/DLaxRww
We will provide reflective vests, wand flashlights, and radios. We also have pop up tents for shade stocked with some snacks and cold water.
There are various roles from being a spotter or directing cars to open spaces. You will be paired with a team (so don't worry about your level of experience).
Wait. Don't people pay MONEY to park? Yes they do.
The Tigard High School Boosters collect money at the entrance (so we don't handle any). The money raised is split between the Tigard High School Boosters, the Tigard Festival of Balloons and the Tigard Breakfast Rotary Club Foundation, a 501(C)4 non-profit. We use the money to provide scholarships to graduating Tigard High School Seniors, send young adults to a leadership retreat, and other projects in our local community.
The shifts are as follows:
Early Shift: 4:30 AM to 9:00 AM
Morning Shift: 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Evening Shift 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Close & Cleanup: 6:00 to 10:00 PM
Please be able bodied, able to stand for long periods of time, prepared for warm summer days, and at least 16 years old due to safety hazards.
Please reach out if you have any questions. Sign ups are through signup.com

Mission Statement
We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change -- across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Description
Rotarians are people of action, driven by a desire to create opportunities, strengthen communities, and find solutions to the tough challenges that affect people around the world. Rotary is a community of 1.2 million men and women from all continents, cultures, professions, and experiences who connect through our local clubs. Rotary clubs tackle projects of every scale and inspire fellow Rotarians, friends, neighbors, and partners to share their vision, exchange ideas for lasting solutions, and take action to bring those ideas to life.
The Tigard Breakfast Rotary Club applies Rotary's goals to the local Tigard community. We are involved in community events like the Tigard Festival of Balloons, and seek to support other local charities, non-profits and areas of need through volunteering time, materials, and donating club funds.
