Spring Gulch Campground Host Needed!
Forest Name: Bitterroot National Forest
Campground Name: Spring Gulch Campground is located on the banks of the Bitterroot River; the campground is nestled in a ponderosa pine forest. It is easily accessible from Highway 93 and sits at an elevation of about 4,300 feet in the Bitterroot National Forest. A variety of wildlife, such as mule deer, white-tailed deer, elk and moose, make its home in the area. A blue-ribbon trout stream next to the campground provides some of the best fishing in the Bitterroot Valley. This campground hosts 10 sites, plus 1 bicycle site, with picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. It also has a picnic area and handicapped accessible facilities to include a fishing pier on the river. Campground can accommodate trailers and RV's to 50'. There are no hook-ups but water is available.
Campground Services Provided (to the hosts) : Electric, Water and Septic tank hook ups, partial uniform, and Forest Service radio.
Host Duties : Priorities are to clean vault toilets, Post reservations from Recreation.gov. Provide information and assistance to campers about Forest Service Rules and Regulations. Provide exceptional customer service to visitors. Monitor the campground for the Forest Service and perform light maintenance duties.
