Are you passionate about helping animals find loving foster and furr-ever homes? Join the HSLC team as our Animal and Foster Marketer! In this rewarding role, you'll be the voice behind our rescue animals, showcasing their purr-sonalities and helping them shine online!

Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting photos, videos and fun updates from foster caregivers to bring each animal's story to life.
  • Writing irresitible bios (using AI is fine with us!) and posting them on animal adoption sites to capture the hearts of potential adopters.
  • Supporting foster caregivers with marketing tips and tools to help promote their animals.
  • Actively recruiting new foster caregivers to expand our lifesaving network.
  • Optional: Photography skills and willingness to visit foster homes to take high-quality photos and videso!

We are a foster-based, all-volunteer organization that saves and improves the lives of vulnerable animals by providing care and placing adoptable animals into loving forever homes.

Description

HSLC has been helping animals since our founding in 1966. HSLC has no paid staff nor a physical facility or shelter; all of our animals are in foster homes, display cages at local pet stores, or in temporary boarding until they are adopted into their furever homes.

Thanks to our volunteers and community support, HSLC helped thousands of animals in 2023:

  • Nearly 200 cats and dogs fostered
  • Over 200 community cats supported
  • Nearly 6,000 animals fed via the Loudoun Pet Pantry
