The Docent Guild at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library has many audiences and is creating an organizational Communications Plan. This volunteer will assist the Docent Guild in creating a comprehensive plan. A degree and/or actual experience in the fields of communications, public relations, marketing, etc. is necessary.

Mission Statement
The purpose of the Docent Guild is to provide information to all visitors regarding the permanent and temporary exhibits and the Birthplace; to recruit and train volunteers to become docents; to provide School, VIP, Adult and Garden Tours; Special Event and Evening Event coverage; and to provide educational programs.
Description
Our WWW.facebook.com/nixondocents page shows docents in action. We are an entirely volunteer organization, 170 members strong. As a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation we are operated solely by volunteers. The Richard Nixon Library and Museum is one of 13 widely known and greatly respected Presidential Libraries operated under the auspices of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
