Dr. Bernardo opened this hospice in 2023 to serve Newberry and surrounding counties. Bernardo Hospice consist of a highly qualified team who are caring and committed to patient care. Together we strive to bring the best hospice services to our patients and their loved ones at the end of life. We provide care, comfort and hope of peace throughout the end of life. Volunteers play a crucial role in Bernardo Hospice, providing companionship, supporting patients and their families throughout the end of life. Volunteers are also often involved in filing, data entry, phone calls, assembling admission packets, etc.
