In association with the Akron Bicentennial celebration, the Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to help us put on a Block Party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 5/31.
Volunteers would assist with running games, supervising inflatables, helping with food, or small projects during the day.
This is a fun day planned for the children and families in our community. We not only want to share with them a fun day, but also let them know the many ways The Salvation Army can help them during the year.
This is a good event for your group, for students who need some service learning time or anyone interested in coming to volunteer.
