Join Patient Care Hospice to honor Veteran patients in their final days! Veteran to Veteran volunteers are so important because of their ability to form a special connection with Veteran hospice patients and the trust that grows between fellow Veterans. Whether you are interested in visiting with Veteran patient or assisting at local Veteran events, we would love to have you join us as a volunteer!
Patient Care Hospice is a proud member of the We Honor Veterans program, a partnership between the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Veterans' Affairs. Through this program, our organization seeks to recognize the unique needs of Veterans at end-of-life and thank them for their service to their country. Patient Care Hospice honors individual patients on hospice service as well as connecting with and honoring Veterans in the community.
