ORGANIZATION: Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village

Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village is seeking enthusiastic volunteer docents to lead tours in the Historic Village!

We are looking for individuals who enjoy engaging with the public of all ages, have a flair for public speaking, and have a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.

Tour Details:

- Days: Fridays and Saturdays

- Times: 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM

- Duration: Each guided tour lasts 60 minutes.

Volunteers will be able to specify which Fridays/Saturdays they can volunteer for and which tour times they’d like to lead. Volunteers can opt to lead one or two tours each day.

  • Each tour is an hour long. We ask that you get here 15-30 minutes early. Each shift is typically 1 hour and 45 minutes.
  • Volunteers will be able to specify which Fridays/Saturdays they can volunteer for and which tour times they’d like to lead. (10:30am or 1pm) Volunteers can opt to lead one or two tours each day.
