What You'll Do:

  • Inventory Support - Help track and organize our tool collection, ensuring nonprofits get exactly what they need.
  • Tool Marking - Paint our tools in signature ToolBank blue, making them easy to identify on job sites and keeping our mission strong.
  • Order Prep - Assist in assembling tool orders for community projects, ensuring organizations get what they need, when they need it.
  • Warehouse Organization - Keep the space tidy and efficient, making it a well-oiled machine for nonprofit partners.

The New Orleans ToolBank is a nonprofit organization that endeavors to lend tools to local charitable and community
organizations to help advance their impact on the community, as well as aid in disaster recovery and rebuilding efforts.
Boasting a spacious 2,700-square-foot warehouse that is stocked with an assortment of premium quality tools of all
varieties, the ToolBank makes doing good easier than ever before. By offering affordable access to high-quality tools, the
New Orleans ToolBank allows community organizations to save money, which can then be used to directly support their
intended mission

REQUIREMENTS

  • This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Full shifts preferred, but shorter shifts welcome!
  • For safety reasons, closed-toe shoes are required while volunteering at the ToolBank. No prior tool experience is necessary—just bring a positive attitude and a willingness to help, and we'll guide you through everything you need to know!
