- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

The Job Carr Cabin Museum strives to serve the Tacoma community beyond the walls of the cabin. We regularly take part in community festivals such as the Lunar New Year festival, farmers markets, and other spring and summer festivals around the city. And, twice a year, we host our own big event, this one is Old Town Craft & Music Fest, featuring local musicians, choirs, an exciting variety of vendors, and multiple great booths that will offer children and adults an interactive experience or craft to help learn about what life was like during the early days of our city!
Volunteers will help staff welcome the public, hand out information, supervise craft booths, and can also help with set up and tear down.
These events help us to share the stories that make Tacoma's history so unique and continue to make us a great city!
