Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? Do you have a vehicle (SUV or larger) and a valid driver’s license? Join our team as a Thrift Store Transport Volunteer at Thrift & Fund by Low Entropy Foundation!
Role OverviewAs a Transport Volunteer, you will play a key role in helping our thrift store operate efficiently by transporting unsellable items to a designated location 15-20 minutes away. Your support ensures that our store remains organized and that all items are redirected responsibly.
ResponsibilitiesArrive at the store on a weekly basis: either Friday mornings or Saturday mornings.
Check in with staff to confirm which items need transport.
Load items into your vehicle from the back door of the store.
Drive items to the designated location and unload them as needed.
Valid driver’s license
Access to a vehicle (SUV or larger) for transporting items
Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items
Punctual and reliable
Support a non-profit that helps empower the community
Gain volunteer experience and give back in a hands-on way
Be part of a friendly and welcoming team
