Family Retreat volunteers assist in creating a safe and carefree environment for retreat families. Volunteers stay on site for the entire three-day, two-night retreat weekend with food and lodging provided.

Volunteer responsibilities can include:

  • Greeting families upon arrival
  • Engaging with families during therapeutic activities
  • Assisting facilitators with program activities
  • Setting up and breaking down rooms and activities
  • Helping families have the absolute best experience possible!

To be considered for a Family Retreat volunteer, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Participate in a 30 min zoom orientation
  • Commit to the entire retreat schedule (Friday at 8:00 am to Sunday at 2:00 pm)

Deliver the Dream is a not-for-profit organization that provides therapeutic programs to special populations including families facing a serious illness, crisis or disability. Our programs restore hope, strengthen relationships and change perspectives to provide inspiration for the future.

Description

Deliver the Dream is dedicated to strengthening families through therapeutic, family-centered programs. These programs serve special populations, including children with Down Syndrome, Veterans, children with autism, and more.

Our programs include Family Retreats -- transformative 3-day, 2-night experiences that foster connection and personal growth through interactive workshops and shared family moments; Family Fun Days -- engaging local outings designed to bring families together for a fun-filled experience; and HOPE at Home -- a virtual program featuring hands-on activities that inspire self-reflection, ignite creativity, and nurture deeper family connections.
