Looking for a way to give back in a truly meaningful way?
At Three Oaks Hospice, volunteers are a valued part of our care team. Whether you’re sitting with a patient, walking a beloved pet, or simply lending a listening ear, your time and compassion can bring comfort and connection to someone in need. No medical experience is required-just a kind heart and a desire to help.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Patient Companionship
Sit with patients, share stories, read, listen to music, lead light art or music activities, or simply offer a quiet, comforting presence. Volunteers help provide psychosocial and emotional support during the final chapter of life.
Pet Program
Walk pets for patients, offer pet companionship or bring your certified therapy animal for visits. Help maintain the special bond between patients and their furry friends.
Administrative Support
Help behind the scenes with filing, copying, data entry, assembling packets, or organizing supplies. A great fit for detail-oriented volunteers who prefer non-patient-facing roles.
Event Assistance
Support community outreach at student fairs, health fairs, and volunteer recruitment events.
