Event Schedule:
- 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. | Volunteer check-in, supply distribution and refreshments
- 10:15 a.m. | Opening remarks & team assignments
- 10:30 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. | Eliza Howell Park clean-up (litter removal, trimming and trail care)
- 1:50 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. | Wrap-up, group photo and volunteer appreciation
- Volunteers will be divided into groups to cover different areas of the park, including woodland trails.
- Supplies (gloves, bags and tools) will be provided.
- Light snacks and water will be available. Please bring your own water bottle.
This is a family-friendly event -all are welcome! Bring your energy, wear comfortable clothes, and help us make a difference in our community.

We seek to improve livability for residents through the promotion of spatial equity and strong social infrastructure. Our emphasis is on public art, cultural programming and deep engagement with community members. We facilitate processes in which residents are empowered to reclaim their spaces and envision their future.
Description
Sidewalk Detroit is dedicated to improving livability in metro-Detroit neighborhoods and public spaces through the lens of creativity, arts, culture, and collaborative design. We are passionate about the power of engagement with residents and artists to create effective, long-lasting, and sustainable plans for public space, including greenspace. We complete this work through deep engagement with residents and artists, place-based event production, and public art planning.
